
Saida Gulomova is an economist with a research focus on Economics, Political Economy, Development Studies, SDGs and Public Policy. Being a recent graduate with a High Honors degree in International Economic Relations from Kimyo International University in Tashkent as well as an Executive Diploma in Islamic Banking and Finance from AlHuda Centre of Islamic Banking and Economics in the United Arab Emirates, Saida qualifies for expertise in quantitative analysis of public policies, governance, institutional effectiveness as well as reforms on economic growth and financial stability.
Saida’s professional and academic background is related to econometrics and quantitative approaches to policy analysis. Previously she had internships in KPMG and the National Bank of Uzbekistan for Foreign Economic Activity. Before assuming her current position, Saida enhanced her research skills by studying at the OSCE Academy in Bishkek. Saida is also involved in various research and economic-oriented projects, such as the English for Science Program conducted by the Ministry of Higher Education Science and Innovation in cooperation with the World Bank’s Munis Project, World Economic Forum Tashkent Hub and many others.
