Temur Akhmedov is a leading expert in energy efficiency, renewable energy, and green building, with nearly 20 years of international experience. Since 2019, he has been engaged in a humanitarian mission in Uzbekistan, advising NGOs, businesses, and urban development projects, including the IT Techno Park—the first in Uzbekistan to achieve BREEAM certification.
He is the founder of the Green Building Council of Uzbekistan (UzGBC), which has led initiatives like World Clean-Up Day and a behavioral energy program for 50 public schools, supported by the Swiss Embassy. As a public speaker and advisor, he has consulted on LEED, BREEAM, EDGE, and Net Zero Energy projects, educating architects, engineers, and policymakers on sustainability.
Previously, he spearheaded the Oklahoma State Facilities Energy Conservation Program (20x2020) in the U.S., managing energy efficiency for 5,000+ buildings across 70 state agencies, targeting $100 million in energy savings. His expertise spans ESG, resilience, and human-centered design in emerging markets.
